He is survived by: his children, Alvin Lee Brinkley (Marcella), Kenneth Otto Brinkley (Linda), Avery Moses Brinkley (Theresa), Theodore Jerome Brinkley, Donald Johnson (Tracey), Lurene Lowe, Mary Johnson, Jacquelyn Tyler (Tony), Cynthia Johnson and Tammy Bostic; his siblings, Mary B. Williams, Mattie S. Brinkley and Bobby Gene Brinkley (Evelyn); his close friend Eleanor Brinkley; his stepchildren, Pierce Lampkin, Jr., Minister Leanna Thorpe (Robert), Dana Thomas, Charles Cummings (Lillie) and Cynthia Cummings; and his granddaughter Kiersten Perkins. He is also survived by other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
