She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Charles Swain of Norwood; and her parents, Ida Catherine Arick Grubbs and Denton Grubbs. She is survived by: her son Tony Swain (Beth Willis) of Surf City, NC; and her brother Bill Grubbs (Barbara) of Evans, GA..
