He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Poss, Sr. and Janie Cosby Poss. He is survived by: his wife Pamela H. Poss; his children, Steven Greer, Matthew Poss, Norwood and Nina Greet; his brother Almon Poss (Esther); and his pet Butterball. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, several great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers if so desired memorial contributions may be made to Lowe Funeral Home to assist the family.
