It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vallie S. Chafin of Norman Park, Georgia, born in Haralson, Georgia, who passed away on November 29, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Robert Spearman and Willie Mae Dennis Spearman; her husband Charles Chafin Jr. (C. M.); and her siblings, C. W. Spearman, Cecil Spearman, Billy Spearman, Doris Brown, Joyce Whitehurst, Mary Futch and Lois McCrary.
She is survived by: her son Glenn Chafin (Lajuana); her grandchildren, Michael Chafin (Leanne) and Jill Ford (Jason); her great grandchildren, Charlie Chafin, James Chafin, William Chafin, Grayson Ford and Trenton Ford; her sister-in-law Claudette Spearman; and also Joyce Jarrell.
