He was predeceased by: his parents, James Willie Pettyjohn and Mildred Leola Howard Pettyjohn. He is survived by: his wife Gay Lynn Turner Pettyjohn of Norman Park; his daughter Mary Lynn Hayden (Chris) of Moultrie; his grandchildren, Turner Castleberry, Walker Story and Carson Hayden; and his siblings, Merry Anne Brazel of Moultrie, Connie Thornton (Terry) of Moultrie and Larry Pettyjohn (Linda) of Moultrie.
