He was predeceased by: his parents, Hoye Wright and Minnie Lee Smith Wright; his siblings, Charles Wright, Jim Wright and Betty Brooks; and his grandchild Chris Barker.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Baker Wright; his children, Dale Wright, Matt Bunn, Richard McCranie, Lee Wright, Daniel Wright, Will Wright, Jon Wright, Crystal Dean (Charles), Rachel Butts (Michael) and Judy Bunn; his brother Bill Wright; his grandchildren, Brandi Bunn, Jolie Dean, Maddie McCranie, Kendall McCranie and Dylon Wright; and his siblings-in-law, Vickie Wright and Danny Brooks. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
