He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Irvin Chapman and Katie Blaine Fletcher Chapman; and his siblings, Roy Chapman, Bea Coley and Druie Dorminy.
He is survived by: his wife Bobbie Yarbrough Chapman of Norman Park; his children, Joey Chapman (Pam) of Moultrie and Pam Chapman Bass of Norman Park; his sister Bernice Hilton of Leesburg; his grandchildren, Savana Chapman, Madison Chapman, Samantha Whiddon (Hunter), Brittany Apperson (Alex) and Justin Bass; and his great grandchild J. D. Whiddon.
