He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucious Harvey "Bud" Dorsey and Nancy Mizie Clark Dorsey; his wife Merleen Dorsey; and his siblings, Tolbert Dorsey, Warren Dorsey, Houston Dorsey, Wiley Pete Dorsey, Louise Robinson, Mecie Bell Roberts, Mary Ellen Baker and Margret Harrell.
He is survived by: his children, Joey David Dorsey (Lisa) of Norman Park, Roger Clark Dorsey (Deborah) of Norman Park and Marsha Jean Cole of Norman Park; his grandchildren, Jeneane Hinson (Larry), Wesley Baker (Kristin), Bobby Joe Dorsey (Jennifer), Amanda Medders, Jenny Hall (Dustin), Bridgett Williams, Stacey Pepple and Lee Williams; and his great grandchildren, Cody Cason, Wes Baker, Lexi Hinson, Caleb Baker, Natalee Medders, Gage Dorsey, Gatlin Hall, Marley Baker, Nola Webb, Seth Dorsey, Jim Brayden Hall, Isaac Medders, Cardin Sims, Bryson Sims, Lacey Pepple and Banks Cason.
