He was predeceased by: his parents, David Conger and Lorene Bivins Conger; his son Keith Conger; and his siblings, Barbara Lovett, Betty Conger, Warren Conger and Earl Conger.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Mae Hamilton Conger of Norman Park; his children, Phillip Conger of Norman Park, Dennis Conger (Hilda) of Moultrie and Sherry Allen (Randy) of Pavo; his grandchildren, Leigh Conger, Carrie Long (Ryan), Clay Conger (Jenny Lee), Zach McMullen (Breanna), Holly Fender (Matthew), Kippani Frasier, Cameron Conger, Kim Bridwell (Mickey), Christi Conger, Crystal Hayre (Phillip), Hanna Conger and Jess Carter (Kevin); and his siblings, JoAnn Elston of Norman Park and Jimmy Conger (Linda) of Moultrie. He is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren.
