She was predeceased by: her parents, Tolbert Dorsey and Winnie Powell Dorsey; her husband Jerry T. Veal; her sons, Mike Gray and Johnny Gray; and her brother Harvey Dorsey.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Bridges (Greg) of Sylvester and Kathy Spurlin (Tuck) of Sylvester; her stepchildren, Christopher Veal (Tracy) of Texas and Jerri Lynn Cooper (Randy) of Tifton; and her grandchildren, Aleisha Golden (Ethan), Kyle Bridges (Whitney), Justin Bentley (Liz Ann), Thomas Spurlin (Emily Futch), Jay Gray, Ashley Gray, Cristin Seller Kylie Veal (Jason), Aric Veal, Austin Veal, Justin Schmandt, Cassandra Jones, Brandi Nobles (Deven), Randy Cooper (Callie) and Danielle Cooper. She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren.
