He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Y. Sutton and Martha Baker Sutton; his grandson Jacob Sutton; his siblings, Baker Sutton and Audrey Sutton; and his brother-in-law Eugene Pope.
He is survived by: his wife Bobbery Pope Sutton of Norman Park; his sons, Joel Sutton (Elizabeth) of McDonough, James Sutton (Ellen) of Norman Park and John Paul Sutton (Kristi) of Norman Park; his grandchildren, Jason Sutton (Rachel) of Norman Park, Jeremy Sutton (Samantha) of Norman Park, Jeb Sutton of Atlanta, Anna Leigh Sutton of Norman Park, Abby Sutton of Norman Park, Audrey Sutton of McDonough and Ada Sutton of Norman Park; his great grandchildren, Owen Jacob Sutton of Norman Park, Olivia Marie Sutton of Norman Park, Carolyn Edwards, Jennifer and White; and his sister-in-law Mae Pope.
