He was predeceased by: his father James "J. W."; his wife Sandra Bullard Passmore; his son Kevin Passmore; and his sister Dorothy Passmore Pinion. He is survived by: his daughters, Pam Passmore Harbin (Tim) of Norman Park and Barbara Bell Chafin of Moultrie; his brother Darrell Passmore (Nancy) of Norman Park; and his grandchildren, Jaime Harbin (Brandon "Dough Boy"), Pope, Mary Grace Thompson (Avery), J. T. Harbin, Kayleigh Harbin, Stormy Harbin, Heather Tucker (Jamey), Kenneth Chafin (Heather), Ashley Young (Jay), Randy Chafin, Joey Chafin, Eric Chafin, Brandon Chafin (Autumn), Katie Adkins (Charles), Jeffery Bell (Kayla) and Nathan Bell. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
