It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth Gant of Norcross, Georgia, born in Eatonton, Georgia, who passed away on November 3, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Owen Edwards and Mattie Wooten Edwards; and her grandson Phil Hogsed. She is survived by: her husband Reuben A. Gant; and her daughters, Mary McClure (Pat), Brenda Gant and Norma Johnson (Alan). She is also survived by grandchildren and fifteen beloved great-grandchildren; as well as a host of extended family and close friends.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be sent to the American Kidney Foundation.
