He was predeceased by: his wife Louise Wages. He is survived by: his son Bill; his sister Martha O'Neal Gunnin Morris of Pottsville, AR; his children, Gail Gunnin Logue (Walter Logue) of Johnstown, CO and Ray W. Gunnin Jr. (Michelle Hunter Gunnin) of Cleveland, GA.; his grandchildren, Benjamin Biggs, Hannah Gunnin, Aaron Gunnin, William Gunnin and Peter Gunnin; and his great grandchildren, Jane Louise Biggs and Kenshin Shawn Biggs. He is also survived by friends, extended family.
Due to the pandemic there will not be a public memorial service.
He personally procured a donation of land from the Orkin family, the beautiful stretch along the Chattahoochee River which became Jones Bridge Park.
