He was predeceased by: his wife Marie-Claire Decatrel; and his son Gilbert Decatrel. He is survived by: his children, Brigitte Decatrel of Dacula and Gerald Decatrel (Beth) of Covington; his grandchildren, Claire Kallstrom, Daniel Kallstrom, Celine Wynn and Philippe Decatrel; his great grandchildren, Walker Decatrel, Liam Haire, Levi Kallstrom, Ava Grace Kallstrom and Ryder Cash Kallstrom; and his siblings, GInette Breton of Queens, NY, Jessie Portella of Queens, NY and Edouard Decatrel of Atlanta.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bill Head Funeral Homes and Crematory - Duluth Chapel (3088 Duluth Hwy, Duluth, GA 30096). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Catholic Church of St. Monica (1700 Buford Hwy, Duluth, GA 30097).
