With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nancy Maria Cannington of Norcross, Georgia, born in Elmhurst, Illinois, who passed away on July 26, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Peter Petersen and Lillian Ann Petersen; her significant other Jim; and her daughters, Karen Ann Cannington and Mary Ellen Cannington.
She is survived by: her daughters, Catherine Shallue (Ken), Donna Gracy (Bill), Patricia "Cricket" Cannington and Linda Bell (Robert); and her grandchildren, Sheila, Hawn (Mike), Carol Shallue, Thomas Shallue (Lynn), Jeremy Gracy (Etsuko), Joseph Gracy (Laura), John Gessler III, James Gessler (Diana), Jeffrey Gessler, Jacquelyn, Long (Chris) and Eli Bell. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
