He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. Roman and Freda B. Roman; and his brother Jerry Roman. He is survived by: his wife Carole Mansfield Roman of Norcross, GA; his sons, Michael Roman, Jr. (Katie) of Grayson, GA and Greg Roman (Meghan) of Acworth, GA; his grandchildren, Charlie, Caroline, Michaela and Nora; and his brothers, Steve Roman (Sherryl) of Jonesboro, GA and Robert "Buster" Roman of Jonesboro, GA. He is also survived by several other relatives and friends.
The family has asked that donations to The ALS Association, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta be made in lieu of flowers.
