It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Douglas Barr (Norcross, Georgia), born in Bassett, Virginia, who passed away on September 1, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Frank Barr; and his sister Linda Wall. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn W. Barr; his daughters, Susan Barr Lummus (William Lummus) and Stephanie Barr Tackitt (Rob Tackitt); and his grandsons, Billy Lummus (Alex) of Ashlyn Lummus, C. J, Clark, Preston Tackitt and Brennan Tackitt.
