He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Nack Sung Kim and Chang Soon Lee; his former wife Hee Jae "Janet"; his wife Joy; his children, Ron Kim, Eunice Carter (Ken), Gerald Kim (Melanie) and Billy Hong (Katy); his grandchildren, Campbell, Knox, Ben, Payton, Jay and Taylor; his grandfather Habu; and his sisters, Geom Nae and Chang Sook. He was also cherished by many in-laws, extended family, and friends.
He made countless contributions to improve petroleum refinement efficiency yields in the oil and gas industry for nearly four decades while working for Shell and TechnipFMC and as an independent consultant.
