He was predeceased by: his brother Barron Spivey. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Sanders Spivey of Norcross, GA; his daughter Robin Spivey of Marietta, GA; his grandchildren, Olivia Goolsby of Carnesville, GA, Scott Becker of Carnesville, GA and Alexander Goolsby of Marietta, GA; his sister Marty Carroll; his brothers-in-law, Ron and Robert; his brother Robert Spivey; his sister-in-law Ophelia Spivey; and also, Wanda McAllister, Mary Miller and Lois Guthrie. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers contributions are asked to be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Georgia Chapter.
