She was predeceased by: her parents, Felton Rainwater and Verna Rainwater; and her husband Robert Adair McDonald Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Judy Jarrett, Mary Ann Smith (Terry), Robert Adair McDonald, Jr. (Janet) and Christopher McDonald (Rebekah). She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
