He is survived by: his wife Rose Gooch Johnson; his children, Robert Johnson of Lilburn, GA, David Johnson (Mary) of Hoover, AL and Helon Hayes (Trent) of Hickory, NC; and his brother Donald Stanley Johnson of Olympia, WA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
