We are sad to announce that on October 24, 2021, at the age of 74, Carl Geary Scherer of Norcross, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his son Scott Scherer; and his parents, Charles Scherer and Helen Mumford Scherer. He is survived by: his wife Dianna Austin Scherer of Norcross, GA; his children, Carl Geary Scherer, Jr. (Mandi) of Gainesville, GA, Paul Scherer (Jamie) of Lancaster, SC and Stephanie Wray (Sammy) of Sanford, NC; and his siblings, Charles Scherer (Jo) of Morrow, GA and Paula Stephens of Decatur, GA. He is also survived by extended family and many friends.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to either St. Vincent De Paul or St. Martin's food pantry at Holy Cross Catholic Church.
