With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carl Edwin Howington (Norcross, Georgia), born in Buford, Georgia, who passed away on April 1, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Tifton Howington and Barbara Roberts Howington; his wife Joyce Blackstock Howington; his son Scott Howington; his brother Grady Howington; and his siblings-in-law, Jordan, Clyde Compton and Jean Howington.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Howington, Stan Howington (Elizabeth) and Susan Howington; his granddaughter Morgan Mayes (Matt); his siblings, Reuben Howington, Jean Jordan and Ruth Compton; and his sister-in-law Bernie Howington. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be sent to the Special Olympics, the Norcross Co-op Ministry, and or Annandale Village in Suwanee, GA.
