He was predeceased by: his parents, Oletha M. Thomas and Joseph L. Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Ruby Chambers of Norcross, GA; his stepmother Gwendolyn Thomas; his sisters, Gicanda Thomas of New Orleans, LA and Jermaine Thomas; his stepbrothers, Chike Rakilam of Youngstown, OH and Akiba Rakilam of Pittsburgh, PA; his sisters-in-law, Joann, Linda and Sylvia; his uncles, Archie K. Milton and Joe Chambers; and his close friends, Elder Alwaid Johnson, Ann Johnson, Teresa Richardson, Annie Sypher-Heath, Tyron Jackson and Ben Brown. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel (1031 Lawrenceville Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA 30046). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
