She is survived by: her husband Godfrey Karuri; her children, Brianna Wheeler (Corey), Kyle Horton and Justin Horton; her mother Karen Patterson Howell; and her sisters, Courtney Howell (Hayli) and Becky Cantrell (Brian). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
