With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sylvia Adams Hollifield of Nicholson, Georgia, born in Athens, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 10, 2024 at the age of 83. Though Sylvia Adams may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Sylvia Adams touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Male and Julia Moore Adams; and her husband Joel Hollifield. She is survived by: her son Paul Hollifield (Gigi) of Athens; and her brother Dennis Adams of Danielsville. She is also survived by three grandson, three great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter.
