He is survived by: his wife Loretta Pierson; his children, Robert Pierson, Jr. (Margaux), Isaiah Pierson, Joel Pierson (Elizabeth), Jesse Pierson, Joshua Pierson and Leah Pierson Brown (Jamar); and his sister Christina Bergeron. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
