He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Cotton and Minnie Cotton; his wife Sandra Tinnell Cotton; his stepmother Plonie Cotton; his children, Lisa Cotton Shubert and Terry Cotton; his sister Amanda Webster; and his stepchildren, Kenneth Carle and Sheryl Carle.
He is survived by: his children, Pamila Pettyjohn (Travis) and Patrick Glenn (Marie); his stepdaughter Kris Carle; and his sister Joanne Chambers. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
