George Weyman Brown Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Weyman Brown of Nicholson, Georgia, born in Athens, Georgia, who passed away on July 23, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Brown and Gertrelle Cody Brown Tate; and his son Nathan Brown. He is survived by: his daughters, Jamie Hicks of Colbert and Deanna Gibson of Colbert; his granddaughters, Cayla, Carlee Gibson, Brooke and Madison Hicks; and his sisters, Marie Pittman of Nicholson and Elaine Brown Coile of Nicholson. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask for donations to be made to the funeral home in his memory to go towards the funeral expense.
