It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Scott Hicks of Nicholson, Georgia, born in Athens, Georgia, who passed away on June 14, 2023, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene Hicks and Iva Lee McDaniel Panther; and his brother Joe Hicks. He is survived by: his daughters, Danielle McVay (Robert) of Nicholson, Caroline Hicks (Olivia) of Nicholson, Olivia Juarez (Yovani) of Nicholson, Isabella Hicks of Nicholson and Reagan Hicks of Nicholson; and his grandchildren, Kaylee Madison McVay of Nicholson and Reece McVay of Nicholson.
