It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Kirkland (Nicholls, Georgia), born in Douglas, Georgia, who passed away on July 28, 2019, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Samuel Waver Story. She is survived by: her husband Kiler Kirkland of Nicholls, GA; her son Kenneth Kalen Kirkland of Nicholls, GA; her stepson Timothy Kiler Kirkland of Jacksonville, FL; her mother Lynette Story of Douglas, GA; and her siblings, Sammy Story of Fitzgerald, GA, Billy Story of Douglas, GA, Pat Turner of Douglas, GA and Linda Hunt of Clarksville, GA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Sims Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
