He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanford Streat and Minnie Lee Taylor Streat; his son David Allen Streat; his great grandchildren, Robin Taylor and Madilynn Creange; and his sister Louise Streat Leach.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Douglas Streat; and his children, Roy James Streat, Barbara Carter (Gandy Chavez) of Nicholls, JoAnn Streat of Nicholls, Minnie Streat of Nicholls, Jennifer Streat (Noah Mobley) of Baxley and Sarah Courson (Lee) of Westgreen. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
