He was predeceased by: his parents, Ealey Hayes and Eula Tanner Hayes; his wife Camellia Dickey Hayes; and his brother Timer Hayes. He is survived by: his children, Keith Hayes (Karen), Mike Hayes of Blackshear and Rhonda Gail Beverly of Waycross; and his siblings, Bucky Hayes (Fannie), Leroy Hayes (Elizabeth "Liz") of Alma and Frankie Cothern of Nicholls. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
