He is survived by: his wife Brenda Peters Meeks of Nicholls; his son Travis Colter Meeks of Macon; his mother-in-law Vicey Peters; his sister-in-law Lynn Peters of Nicholls; and his close friend Lavern Altman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
