She is survived by: her husband Calvin Dowling of Nicholls, GA; her sons, DeWayne Dowling (Amber) of Douglas, GA and Dustin Dowling of Douglas, GA; her grandchildren, Clara Dowling, Clayton Dowling and JoElla Dowling; and her siblings, Patti Mercer (Carlie) of Douglas, GA, Glenda McElhaney (Leon) of Douglas, GA and Leamon Lamar McCallister of Douglas, GA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
