It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Youngblood of Nicholls, Georgia, who passed away on May 8, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henry Rigby and Jessie Mae Ray Rigby; her husband Jimmy "Verlon" Youngblood; and her siblings, Bo, L. B. Rigby, Bessie Dennis, Gladys Rigby and Essie Bagley.
She is survived by: her son Jimmy Youngblood (Lisa) of Nicholls; her granddaughter Jessie Sellars (Jamie) of Nicholls; her great grandchild Cameron Sellars of Tifton; her sisters, Carolyn Taylor (Mike) of Sasser, Brenda Williams (Paul) of Douglas and Linda Shumans "Sissy" (Oral) of Hazlehurst; her sons, Justin Griffin (Jamie) of Alma, Brock Tanner (Logan) of Surrency, Jake Harrell of Nicholls and Dexter Tims of Douglas; and her grandchildren, Kaylan Mullis, Bryce Griffin, Emerson Trowell, Bella Tanner, Lucy Tanner and Lennox Tanner. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
