He was predeceased by: his father Larry McElroy; his brother Clifford McElroy; and his granddaughter Harper Lynn Brown. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Lynn Moore McElroy; his mother Shirley Ann Waldron McElroy; his children, Jimmy Derrell McElroy, Jr. (Megan), Wendy Nicole McElroy and Misty McElroy Brown (K. B.); his siblings, Stanley James McElroy (Rhonda) and Tammie Douglas (Ricky) of Nicholls, GA.; and his grandchildren, Graycee Nicole McElroy, Gabriella Layne McElroy, Gavin Cole McElroy, Hudson Maddox and Grayson Maverick McElroy.
