He is survived by: his wife Sandra Myers Cole of Nicholls; his mother Latrelle Rowell Cole; his daughter Hilary Cole Rodriguez (Nicolas) of Douglas; his stepdaughter Candace Spivey Smith (Jeremy) of Broxton; and his sister Pamela Cole Harrell of Nicholls. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
