With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Iris Mills (Nicholls, Georgia), born in Alma, Georgia, who passed away on June 22, 2020 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Rhozier Mills; her son Jim Mills; her parents, Ira Cannon and Marie Yawn Cannon; and her son-in-law John Mattox.
She is survived by: her daughter Jerris Mattox of Douglas, GA; her grandson Vince Cothren of Nicholls, GA; her great grandchildren, Lindsey Minis (T. L.) and Aaron D. Cothren (Allie); her sister-in-law Sara Ann Anderson (Hubert); her nephew Russell Mills; and also, Hayden, Easton, Allie of Claxton, GA, Aaron Jr. and Avery of Anaconda, MT. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
