She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward L. Starnes and Grace Whittaker Starnes; her husband Rev. James Johnson, Sr.; her brother Cecil Starnes; and her niece Malinda Anderson.
She is survived by: her children, James Harold Johnson, Jr. of Nicholls, Paul Edward Johnson of Nicholls and Tammy Adams (Charlie) of Tuscaloosa, AL.; and her siblings, William L. Starnes, Sr. of Nicholls and Dorothy L. Miller (Myron) of Jasper, FL. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
