It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donnie Gene Lee Sr. of Nicholls, Georgia, who passed away on September 5, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Prince Albert Lee, Sr. and Ada Kirkland Lee; his siblings, J. V. (Sarah), P. A. Lee (Shirley), Christine Brown (Frank), Geraldine Lee Carter and Lois Nettles (Tommy); and his granddaughter Holly Lee.
He is survived by: his wife Dollie Ruis Lee of Nicholls; his children, Donnie Gene Lee, Jr. (Theresa) of Blackshear, Diane Marie Lee and Connie Lee Harrison (Chris) of Douglas; his brothers, Carlos Lee of Jacksonville, FL. and Virgil Lee (Elaine) of Douglas; his grandchildren, Julisa Marie Nunn, Jessica Lee Nunn, Summer Lee Wade and Walker Vaughn Lee; his stepgrandchildren, Joshua, Kaitlyn, Caleb Alvarez, Brooklyn, Grace and Jacob Harrison; and his great grandchildren, Bentley Asher Lee Wade, Layla, Liam Wade, Toby Batten and Russell Lee.
Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 at the funeral home with social distancing and mask required.
