He was predeceased by: his parent James Gilliard. He is survived by: his parent Rudine Kirkland Gilliard; his wife Elaine McKuhen Gilliard of Nicholls; his sons, Michael Gilliard (Melissa) of Nicholls and Tony Gilliard (Helen) of Nicholls; his sister Carole G. Gilliard (Reaford) of Byron, GA; his grandchildren, Justin Gilliard, Tori Gilliard (Fiance Cory Foster), Amanda Gilliard, Amber Gilliard Miller (Joshua) and Brooke Gilliard; and his great grandchild Riley Miller. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
