She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Barrentine and Nellie Grantham Barrentine; her husband J. W. Buchan; her siblings, Buddy Barrentine and Evelyn Rowell; her granddaughter Joy Burnam; her great grandchild Jesse Knowles; and her son-in-law Clinton Russ.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sherry Russ of Nicholls, GA, Debby Burnam (Mickey) of Nicholls, GA, Dinky Kirkland (Mike) of Nicholls, GA and Stacy Davis (Bobby) of Nicholls, GA; and her grandchildren, Josh Russ (Tonya), Rockki Russ (Barbara), Buffy Knowles (John), Nellie Wicker, Terra Orseno (Justin), Brandy Kirkland, Kassidy Carter (Michael) and Jordan Davis. She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
