With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marriliah Parish of Newton, Georgia, born in Rockmart, Georgia, who passed away on June 6, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband James Phillip Parish, Sr.; her son James Phillip Parish, Jr.; and her granddaughter Sara Nicole Lackey. She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Ann Parish (Tommy Fuller) of Covington and Sonya Tanner (Cary) of Madison; her daughter-in-law Carrie Parish of Newborn; her grandchildren, Scooter, Sissy (Jesse), Chelsey (Kevin) of Autumn, J. J. and Heidi; her great grandchildren, Robbie, Brantley, Tanner, Joshua and Brooklyn Grace; and her siblings-in-law, Ruben Parish (Charlotte) and Marcie Jordon. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other family members and many close friends.
