We are sad to announce that on December 12, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Leon Scrub Walton of Newton, Georgia, born in Alice, Texas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Leon may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Leon touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Scrub Walton Sr. and Shirley Jeanette Payne. He is survived by: his wife Sarae Wiggins Walton; his son Leon Scrub Walton III; and his brother Tommy Walton Sr. (Marisa). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Central Church (11157 City Pond Rd, Covington, GA 30014). A celebration of life was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
