Dovie LaVerne Hudson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dovie LaVerne Hudson of Newton, Georgia, who passed away on October 26, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dan Bailey and Dovie Phillips Bailey; her husband Gary Braxton Hudson, Jr.; her daughter Peggy Hudson Skipper; and her siblings, Henry J. Bailey, Jack Bailey, Alma Ruth Ervin, Amy Rathel and Susie Peace.
She is survived by: her children, Nick Hudson, Ramona Price (Rick) and MeChelle Pait (Terry); and her brother Oscar Bailey. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and one on the way, 2 great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
