He is survived by: his wife Susan Sewell Rooks; his sons, Brandon Daniel Rooks (Anna) of Vestavia Hills, AL and Jason Matthew Rooks (Jennifer) of Moody, AL; his grandchildren, Madeline, Eli, Ward, Leland, Laken and Landry Rooks; and his father Bobby Brown Rooks.
