With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Walter Lee Riley Porter of Newnan, Georgia, born in Chester, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 22, 2024 at the age of 87. He was predeceased by: his parents, Aaron John "A. J." Porter and Mary Moseanna Melton Porter; his wife Lynn Andrea Oliver Porter; and his siblings, Sonley Porter, John Joe Porter, Alvin Porter, Lillie Porter Burrell, Dorothy Porter Melton and Betty Ann Porter Dietrich.
He is survived by: his daughters, Amie "Mark" Wiggins and LeAnn "Jon" Jones; his grandchildren, Kirstin Riley Jones of Newnan, Georgia, Andrew "Drew" Bailey Jones of Newnan, Georgia and Emma Danielle Wiggins of Newnan, Georgia; and his sisters, Catherine Porter Southerland and Juanita Porter Elliott of South Carolina.
