He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Garner (Bo) and Ethel Owen Garner; his wife Barbara "Nan" Williams; his grandmother W. Garner; his brother-in-law Rev. Robert Partridge; and his son-in-law Jack Martz.
He is survived by: his siblings, Carol Ann Partridge and Lewis Alva Garner (Donna); and his children, Tommy Garner (Darlene), Tammy Martz and Lynn Upchurch (Charlie). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
